*Max/Alec & Logan - The love triangle between the three. Max is found out to be developing a relationship with Alec behind Logans back and Logan tries to make her decide when he finds out.

Max & Logan - A look at how Max can't commit to Logan and the journey they go through to try and be together.

Mal/Serenity - A look at how Mal needs the ship (Serenity) to keep him going.

*Inara/Kaylee - The life Inara keeps her away from the one she wants and loves but tries to give it a shot with Kaylee, can they make it work or will.
